History
The concept of the Pachyderm Club movement dates all the way back to 1967 in Columbia, Missouri, by its founder George Parker.
His intent was to create a consistent forum for the interchange of ideas among conservatives. By 1974, the National Federation of the Grand Order of Pachyderm Clubs had been formed. Over the years, more clubs were formed in Missouri and quickly spread throughout several states, including California, Colorado, Indiana, Kansas, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
In 1992, National Pachyderm was granted official auxiliary status by the Republican National Committee.
